David Bryan Hufham
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverend Billy Atkins officiating.
Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. Hufham was born in Wilmington, NC, and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Fleming Baptist Church and the Collins Missionary Sunday School Class. He was Past President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed writing books, poems, and Christian songs which he sang at Fleming’s Young at Heart Social. He always had a smile on his face and brought out the best in people. He enjoyed telling jokes and he loved fishing with his wife and playing games on the computer.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Margaret Fowler and her husband, Virgil, of Augusta, Judy Wood, and her husband, John, of North Augusta, and Tammy Hamilton, and her husband, Mike, of Evans; his grandchildren, Caroline English (Jonathan), Whitney Fowler (Malinda), Holly Atkinson, Ryan Atkinson (Julie), Daniel Hamilton, and Liana Hamilton; and five great grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Bryan Adams, Don Broscious, Don Gray, Dean Cooper, George Wren, and Lonzo Elam.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Collins Missionary Sunday School Class.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 14, 2014, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
