Dale E. Bradford, Sr

Martinez, GA – Dale E. Bradford, Sr, 58, of Palmetto Dr, husband of Angela Partridge Bradford, entered into rest Friday, February 11, 2011.

Graveside services will be held, Monday, February 14, at 11:00 AM at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Elder Max Hicks and Reverend Rick Slagle officiating.

Family and friends are requested to assemble at the grave.

Mr. Bradford was born on February 28, 1952 in Augusta, GA.  He graduated from Evans High School and was a member of First Primitive Baptist Church.  He was a boiler operator in the maintenance department at University Hospital.  He loved deer hunting and collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Bradford and his stepfather, Andy Maddox.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Dale E. Bradford, Jr and his wife Cindy, and Kyle J. Bradford and his fiance Priscilla Bailey, all of Grovetown, GA; his stepdaughter, Missy Lever, of Augusta; his mother, Alice Jane Maddox, of Martinez; his stepmother, Mary Bradford, of Orangeburg, SC; his sister Glenda Hamilton and her husband, Dave, of Martinez; his stepsister Brenda Moore and her husband, Lester, of Columbia, SC; his grandchildren, Tyler and Megan Alicea of Grovetown, Kaylen Cook, of Grovetown, and Jon Lever, of Augusta; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Active pallbearers will be Steve Frew, Larry Hatcher, William Doolitle, Ivan Waterbury, Walter Glen, Carl Bradford, Wayne Bradford, and Dean Vanetten.

Honorary pallbearers will be his fellow employees from the Boiler Room at University Hospital.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, February 13, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
