Connie Quattlebaum Weeks
Hephzibah, GA – Connie Quattlebaum Weeks, 69, beloved wife of Ashley Weeks, entered into rest on Friday, October 15, 2021 at University Hospital.
A native and lifelong resident of the Augusta area, she was the daughter of the late Edward L. and Peggy Judge Quattlebaum. She began her career at University Hospital in 1973 as a Surgical Tech and was currently the OR Charge Nurse/Coordinator. She loved reading and books, gardening and growing all types of flowers and vegetables which, she shared with her family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling and was a wonderful baker. Mrs. Weeks had been a longtime member of Hephzibah Baptist Church where she was active in the call committee and lent her green thumb to beautify the church gardens and grounds.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weeks was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Quattlebaum; sister-in-law, Sue Quattlebaum; and her step-daughter, Beth Rachels.
In addition to her husband Mrs. Weeks is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Macon Witteman; her step son, John Weeks (Linda); her step son-in-law, Bobby Rachels; her siblings, Billy Quattlebaum (Bushy), Tim Quattlebaum (the late Sue), Terry Darabant (Titus), Sarah Hare (Michael), Stephanie Qualltebaum (Pam Light); her grandchildren, Lane Witteman and Rachel Witteman, and their father, Jesse Witteman; her step grandchildren, Katie Canady, Jamie Wilkes, Dylan Weeks and Jessica Jones; and four step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 11:00 A.M., with the Reverends Danny McGill and John Beck officiating. Interment will follow in the Hephzibah-Vance Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be, Bill Quattlebaum, David Hough, Ronald “R.P.” Bagwell, Brandon Williams, Matthew Quattlebaum, Robert Quattlebaum, III.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 22, 2021, from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
