A private celebration of his life will be held on Friday, June 24, at 1:00 P.M., in the chapel at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, Ga. Other survivors include his son, Clarence E. Jones and his wife Patricia of Augusta; grandson, Christopher M. Jones and his wife Karla of Atlanta; great-grandchildren, Tiffany (Lalo) Chavez, Tony and Micah. Mr. Jones was born in Lumber City, Ga to the late Clark and Harriet Jones. He was a retired Cab Driver, a WWII Veteran and a member of Williams Memorial CME Church. The family would like to thank all of their family and friends for there acts of kindness during this time of bereavment. They would also like to express their deep appreciation for the nurses, doctors and all the staff at The Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home. The family will receive friends this Friday afternoon from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M., at the funeral home.
