Clarence Fulton, Jr

Evans, GA – Clarence Fulton, Jr, age 89, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 18, 2013.

            Memorial services will be held Sunday, September 22, 2013, at 2:00 PM from Warren Baptist Church Chapel.
            Clarence was born in Alabama on August 31, 1924. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and served on the USS Franklin during the raid on the Japanese Harbor.  He then worked as a clerk with the CSX Railroad until retirement. He was a faithful member of Warren Baptist Church of Augusta.
            He leaves behind his wife of 8 years, Mary Frances Kirby Fulton, of Evans.
            In addition he leaves behind his daughter, Dorothy Ann Fulton Sanders, of Evans, GA; his granddaughters, Diane Hodges, of Clearwater, FL and Tracy Christine Finch and her husband, Ashley, of Graniteville, SC; his grandson, Jason Wesley Sanders, of Evans, GA; his great granddaughter, Ansley Caroline Finch, of Graniteville, SC; his stepdaughter, Laura Reeves, of Augusta; his step grandson, Brian James and his wife, Sara Wakefield, of Augusta; his step granddaughter, Christina James, of Evans; his step great granddaughter, Harmony Eason, Evans; his step great grandson, Aaron James, Augusta; and his sister in law, Bonnie Baxter, of Atlanta.
            He was preceded in death by his first wife of 57 years, Ann Fulton; his mother, Minnie Lee Goodwin; his brother, James Allen Goodwin; and his daughter, Donna Kay Fulton Hodges.
            If so desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
            The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
