Cindy Jo Sauls
Grovetown, GA – Mrs. Cindy Jo Sauls (Mawmaw), 62, was called home by the Lord and his angel’s on Sunday, May 1, 2022.
Ms. Sauls worked at Columbia County Board of Education as a special education bus aid for 10 years; she had a special place in her heart for special needs children. Her favorite things to do were camping, fishing, and spending time with her girls, grandkids, and loved ones. Everyone knew that her door was always opened; if you ever needed a place to stay or something to eat you could always go to “Aunt” Cindy’s house. It was always a priority of hers that when she left the house she always had to eat out. In her time at home she devoted her love and affection to her dog, Gizmo.
Cindy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Ms. Sauls, daughter of the late Martha Pauline Sauls and the late Earl Franklin Sauls, was born in Cherry Point, North Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Gail Sauls.
She is survived by her daughters; Becky Lee Alston (Duane), Sandra Diane Lott (Dustin); her grandchildren, Khristian Pennino, Kayla Pennino, Kayley Lott, Jacob Lott, Makinley Lott; her great-grandson, Easton Pennino; her siblings, Danny Seigler, Barbara Usry, Deborah Neely, Linda Harvey, Julie Meadows, Tammy Sprouse, Sandra Sauls. She is also survived by her life long friend, Lynda Hill.
The memorial services will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022. Visitors are welcomed from 1:00-2:00 with the service starting at 2:00 in the Chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors. Following the services there will be a Celebration of Life, at the home of Sandra and Dustin Lott, at 3347 Mistletoe Road, Appling, GA 30802.
