Charlotte Ann Shears

Augusta, GA – Charlotte Ann Shears, 78, wife of the late Billy Ralph Shears, entered into rest Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Doctors Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 1, 2016, at 1:00 PM, from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors, with Reverend Dave Dillard officiating.

Mrs. Shears, daughter of the late Neal F. Williams, Jr. and Willie Pearl Thurman Williams, was a native of Anniston, AL, and was a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Nealine Hughes.

She is survived by her son, Robert Keith Shears (Margaret), of Greensboro, NC; her daughter, Pamela Rayburn (Chris), of Augusta; her sister, Daphne Robinson (Lee), of Anniston, AL; her grandchildren, Jeremy Rodriguez, Jana O’Connor, and Brooke Shears; and her great grandchildren, Cameron, Madi, Palmer, Carleigh, Lexie, Victoria, Izabelle, and Zoey.

Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her family would like to thank the staff of Hephzibah Dialysis Center and the staff of Doctors Hospital ICU for all of their care.

If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Hospital of Georgia, Office of Advancement, Augusta University, 1120 15th Street, Augusta, GA 30912.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 1, 2016, from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.

You share. and give so much happiness to us and others and keep your sadness to yourself. God gives you great strength to get through these problems.
