Chad Andrew Hargrove

North Augusta, SC – Chad Andrew Hargrove, 26, entered into rest on Thursday, December 31, 2020.

A memorial service for family will be held in chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors, at 2:00 P.M., on Thursday, January 7, 2020, with Pastor Mark Maund. officiating. Those in attendance should wear a mask and abide by social distancing protocol.

A celebration of Chad’s life, for family and friends to gather and share memories, will be held at the Mistletoe State Park Beach House, from 1:00 until 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 16, 2021.

Born in Augusta, GA, on June 27, 1994, Chad was a lifelong resident of the Augusta area. He had been a welder, loved the outdoors, skateboarding and spending time at the river. He never met a stranger, was a a friend to many and loved with all of his heart, especially his family, which he showed as he cared for his Pawpaw, Phil Hargrove, in the last days of his life. Chad was loved by all that knew him and the short time he was on this earth he was able to touch lives of many that will last a lifetime.

Chad is survived by his father, Vince Hargrove and his girlfriend, Jamie, and his mother and father, Melissa and Joseph Jarrard; his brothers, Noah and Elijah Jarrard; his sisters, Holley and Reagan Hargrove; his girlfriend, Emilee Ammons; he was beloved by his mother, Tonya “TonTon” Hargrove; additional survivors are his paternal grandparents, Jencie Hargrove and the late Phil Hargrove; Dale Taylor and Frances Romine and Dayn Romine maternal grandparents, Chester and Mary Jarrard; as well as a host of cousins and many friends that are more like family.
