Betty Chamineak

Grovetown, GA – Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Chamineak, 91, wife of the late Mike
Chamineak, entered into rest on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Westwood Nursing

A graveside service will be held in Hillcrest Memorial Park, at 11:00 A.M., on
Wednesday, December 30, 2020 with Pastor Larry Harmon officiating.

Born in Indianapolis, IN on December 19, 1929, she was the daughter of the late
Camp and Marie Lusk Davis, and had made the Augusta area her home since the early
sixties. Mrs. Chamineak was an Army wife and travelled the world with her family before
her husband’s retirement. She was a wonderful cook and loved to garden, crochet,
woodwork and sew. She was very fond of her cats Sissy and Lucky. She was of the
Methodist faith.

Mrs. Betty is survived by her son, Mickey and his wife Sharon Chamineak; her
daughters, Terry and her husband Buford Rickerson, Diane Chamineak and her best
friend Scharon Spencer, and Laura Kearney and her best friend Kristi Bartkus; her
brothers, Jim Davis and Mike Davis; her sisters, Jerry Cox and Mary Emma Nielson; her
very special friend, Lucille Grant; and her six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank all of Mrs. Betty’s caregivers in the unit at Westwood
Nursing Home that cared for her during her stay.
