Harlem , GA – Andrew Marsee went home with the Lord on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021 at 4:02pm, he was 49 years young. He was involved in a horrific accident on 3/30/21 and he fought so hard to come back to me for almost 5 days, but once we knew the Andrew we loved was gone, I had to let him go, and let his dad and 2 brothers, already in heaven, take him to the Lord.
Andrew was an amazing human being. You will never meet a soul who won’t tell you of something he did for them or some way he influenced them or just how much they enjoyed being around him. He loved life and lived it fully and he loved the family and friends he had created. He had many brothers and they all knew it as he never saw or spoke to them and didn’t say “Love ya, Brother”.
He loved his work family at Aspen Dental and whenever asked what he did, he would reply, “I make people smile for a living.” Nothing made him happier than to come home and tell me he made an old lady cry because he made her look 20 years younger. He loved what he did. It was a passion, not a job, and he was an artist at it.
He was my soulmate, truly, for 25 years of marriage. We lived the fairy tale no matter the problems, no matter the arguments, no matter the anger. We stayed together and we worked it out and we loved. Oh my, did we love.
Andrew was a Christian and there will be a service for him Saturday, April 17, 2020, at 4:00 PM, with Pastor Eddie West officiating, at his favorite church, Christ Baptist Church, 770 W Five Notch Rd, North Augusta, SC 29860. He was led to the Lord there, he was baptized there, he worked in the yard there and always told me he had an overwhelming peace there. Exactly where he would want to be honored.
I’m not going in to detail about how he was survived by this person or that, because anyone who knew Andrew, loved him and somehow became a part of his family. So, it would take a book to list who he is survived by, but Andrew was LOVED. He was loved deeply and he loved deeply and his loss from this world is a tragedy beyond measure. This world needs so many more Andrew Marsee’s, not the loss of the Original.
Please, everyone who can attend, come and show him love. No flowers are necessary. Make a donation to any Fallen Riders Club in his name!
