Juanita “Nita” Greening

Columbia, SC – Juanita “Nita” Greening, 82, wife of E. Calvin Faulkenberry, the late Alfred Greening and the late Jimmie R. Brown, entered into rest Wednesday, June 20, 2012.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 22, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors, with Reverends Tom and Karon Compton officiating.
Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
A Memorial service will be held in Columbia, SC, on Saturday, June 23, 2012, at 11:00 AM from First Baptist Church of Columbia, 1306 Hampton ST, Columbia, SC 29201.
Mrs. Greening, daughter of the late Hobson Frank and Aurelia Rast Fraylick, was born in Vance, SC. She was a member of Mann Memorial UMC, the Edwards Sunday School Class, and the United Methodist Women.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Norbert Fraylick and Hopson Fraylick, Jr.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Denis A. and JoAnne Greening, of Germantown, MD; her daughters, Karen and Tim Smith, Marianna, FL, Celeste Greening, Clarkesville, TN, Lori and Everett Johnson, Springhill, FL, and Nina and SFC Jack Williams, of Ft. Belvair, VA; her brother, Carlton Fraylick, of Washington, DC; seven grandchildren, Joshua and Melissa Smith, Irmo, SC,
Matthew and Sarah Smith, Merritt Island, FL, Nathan and Kiersten Smith, Tallahassee, FL
Masha Johnson, Spring Hill, FL, Brittany Cosnahan, Lindsey Cosnahan and Maxwell Williams, all of Ft Belvoir, VA; and two great grandchildren, Anneliese Smith, Merritt Island, FL and Abbott Smith, Tallahassee, FL.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Edwards Sunday School class and the United Methodist Women.

The family will receive friends Friday, from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service at the funeral home.

Annie Laura (Ann) Thompson

Augusta, GA – Annie Laura (Ann) Thompson, 89, entered into rest Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Keysville Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 22, at 3:00 PM from The Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Ron Jones and Dr. James Ford officiating. She will lie in state at the church from 2:00 until the hour of service.
Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Ms. Thompson, daughter of the late William Lewis and Rebecca Poole Kitchens, was born in Glascock County. She was a homemaker and devoted mother. She was a member of The Hill Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her son Ricky R. Thompson, of Hephzibah; her niece Vickie Harrell Clark, and her husband, Jack, of Hephzibah; her great nephew Harrell Clark, of Hephzibah; her great niece, Caroline Clark, of Columbia, SC; and many special friends.
Pallbearers will be Mason Roberts, Wilson Folk, Vernon Hargrove, Herb Moxley, Carl Bethune, and James Mills.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Ruth Sunday School Class.
The family would like to offer special thanks to Dr. Clay Wilson, Dr. Jack Hamilton, Dr. Barry Thompson, and to the Keysville Nursing Home staff.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 21, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
