Mr. Newman was a Computer Systems Analyst with CSC and a member of Burns Memorial United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his sons and daughters in law, Keith and Kelli Newman, of Melbourne, FL, and Joshua and Sheila Newman, of Augusta; his parents, Jimmy and Effie Newman, Evans; his sisters, Christie Duffie, and Keeley Rogers, both of Evans, his nieces, Hollie and Jordan Mims, Casey and Duane Borba, and Jennifer and Tim Bowlby; his nephew Jesse Rogers; his aunt, Mary Anderson Johnson, of Evans; and his special friend, Selena Rosen, of Tampa, FL.

Augusta, GA – Calvin W. Parker, 66, husband of Candace Parker, entered into rest Tuesday, June 26, 2012.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Full Military Honors.
Mr. Parker was born in Barnwell, SC and was the son of the late Wilbur and Lois Parker. He retired from the US Army as Master Sergeant with 27 years served. During his career he served three tours in Vietnam. He also served in Desert Storm/Desert Shield.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, John Parker of Aiken, his daughters, Teresa Reese of Augusta, Sherry Wolbert of Martinez and Angela Parker of Augusta; several grandchildren; and his stepbrother, Ted Parker of Aiken.

Augusta, GA – Robbie “Robin” Carr, 41, entered into rest Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at her residence.

Ms. Carr, daughter of Mary Ann Hadden Johnson, and the late William Marvin Johnson, was a registered nurse and psychologist.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Marvin Ewing Johnson and Lena Cawley Johnson, her maternal grandparents, Robbie Newman Hadden and John Chester Hadden, Sr; and her uncle, John Chester Hadden, Jr.

Marion G. Videtto

Augusta, GA – Marion G. Videtto, 81, husband of Geraldine “Gerri” Videtto of Custis Ct, entered into rest Monday, June 25, 2012, from NHC Healthcare, North Augusta.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 28, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverends Keith Cox and Steve Hartman officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Videtto, son of the late Otis and Lorena Eidson Videtto, was born in Augusta, Georgia. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He worked with Kroger for thirty years and Winn Dixie for ten, as a meat cutter. He was a member of Burns Memorial United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class, the Methodist Men, and the Happy Club.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Alvin Videtto, and his sister, Elease Hunt.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son and daughter in law, David N. and Shari Videtto; his daughter and son in law, Kathey and Thomas VanDina, all of Augusta; his brother, Henry Videtto, of Martinez; his grandchildren, Kenny M. Videtto, and his wife, Wendy, Deidra Swygert, Shellie Lutz and her husband, Kyle, Allen Holsonbake, and Joshua VanDina; and his great grandchildren, Michael Videtto, David Videtto, Preslie and Gracie Sidener, Zachary Dwyer, Savana Swygert, and Levi Hudson Lutz.

Ms. Kitchens, daughter of Gene Brassell, Sr and the late Annie Hazel Brassell, was born in Augusta.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bridgette Nicole Collins.
She is survived by her daughter, Chelsea Lynn Kitchens, of McBean; her father, Gene Brassell, Sr, of Augusta; her brothers, Gene Brassell, Jr and Chris Brassell, both of Hephzibah; her sisters, Shannon Carver, of Hephzibah, and Maria Clarke, of North Augusta; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her sons James M. Thomas and his wife, Rhonda, of Augusta, and Larry S. Thomas and his wife, George Ann, of Valdosta; her daughters Kaye Thomas French of Thomson, and Billie T. English and her husband, Thomas, of Hephzibah; her daughter in law, Sheila H. Thomas, of North Augusta, SC; her sister in law, Evelyn J. Martin, of Pelion, SC; her step brother, Clyde Fogle, of Pelion, SC; her grandchildren, Dena Berenguer, Lane Guzman, Allison English, Lara K. Holt, Melissa Wingard, Erin Jones, Britton Woods, and Matt Thomas; seventeen great grandchildren; and her caregivers, Stephanie Freeman and Patrice Archer.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Norbert Fraylick and Hopson Fraylick, Jr.

Ms. Thompson, daughter of the late William Lewis and Rebecca Poole Kitchens, was born in Glascock County. She was a homemaker and devoted mother. She was a member of The Hill Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her son Ricky R. Thompson, of Hephzibah; her niece Vickie Harrell Clark, and her husband, Jack, of Hephzibah; her great nephew Harrell Clark, of Hephzibah; her great niece, Caroline Clark, of Columbia, SC; and many special friends.

Augusta, GA – Claudette Lois Rogers McCoy, 58 wife of Theodore McCoy, entered into rest Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Second Providence Baptist Church with Reverend Albert James officiating. Interment will be private at a later date.
Mrs. McCoy was born in Norristown, PA to the late Frank and Vernolia Perry Rogers. She was a retired substitute teacher with the Richmond County Board of Education. She was a member of Laney High School Booster Club and PTA. She was a member of Second Providence Baptist Church serving on the Angel Tree Ministry, Childrens Ministry, Food Ministry, Womens Mission Group and the Back-to-School Group.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her sons, Christopher Rogers and his wife Veronica of Augusta, GA Michael McCoy and his wife Ta-Neia of Antioch, TN and Jerome McCoy and his wife Latoya of Augusta, GA; brothers, Brian Rogers and his wife Katie of Laufeld, Germany and Thomas Rogers of Norristown, PA; sisters, Jeanette Rogers of Jacksonville, FL, Vivian Rogers, Deborah Rogers and Gail Rogers all of Norristown, PA; one grandchild Gianna Rogers.
