Augusta, Ga.- Martha Louise Williford Lamb , 82, wife of John Edgar Lamb entered into rest Sunday, February 5, 2012 at the residence.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 1:00 P.M., in Calvary Temple Assembly of God with Reverend Ray Farmer and Reverend Bobby Williford officiating. Interment will follow in Jordan Chapel Church of God Cemetery, Edgehill, GA.
Mrs. Lamb was born in Jefferson County, Ga to the late Hartwell and Florie Newsome Williford. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Temple Assembly of God.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
Mrs. Lamb was preceded in death by her brothers Hilton and Walter Williford.
Other survivors include her daugthers, Frances Munnerlyn and Barbara Jones (M.G.); sons, Jimmy Lamb (Deborah) and Les Lamb (Terrie) ; four sisters, four brothers,10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and their beloved pet Peanut.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Shirley A. Friar
Augusta, GA – Shirley A. Friar, 69, wife of the late Thomas Eugene Friar, of Brown Rd, entered into rest Sunday, February 5, 2012, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 8, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors, with Bishop Leon Garvin officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Friar, daughter of the late Samuel McRollin and Vernell Pipkin Mason, was a native of Augusta. She retired as a Nurse from Trinity Hosptial.
She was preceded in death by her son, Troy Johnson.
She is survived by her son, Darrell Johnson and his wife, Tammy, of Vidette; her daughter, Teresa Riddle and her husband, Robert, of Grovetown; her brother, Steve Mason, Sr, and his wife, Patti, of Augusta; her brother-in-law Ronnie Friar and his wife, Gayle, of Hephzibah; her grandchildren, Lexie Johnson, Chandler Johnson, Michael Johnson, Samantha Mellinger and her husband, Caleb, Shelby Riddle, and Bailey Riddle; and special friend, Rita Prosser.
Pallbearers will be Steve Mason, Jr., Travis Mason, Stephen Smith, Lowell Prosser, Wendy Rosier, and Ronnie Friar.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 7, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Allan Lewis Ridgeway, Jr.
Augusta, GA – Allan Lewis Ridgeway, Jr., 51, of Richards Road, entered into rest Saturday, February 4, 2012.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 12:00 noon from the graveside in Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. Marion Jay officiating.
Mr. Ridgeway, a native of Augusta, loved to fish was always willing to help underprivileged children and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Brown.
He is survived by his parents,
Allan Lewis and Ann Andrews Ridgeway, Sr. of Augusta; daughters, Alexis Nicole “Nikki” Ridgeway and Miranda Cobb, both of Anderson, SC; sister, Patricia J. Williamson of Augusta; best friend and caretaker, Vickie Keeler Nichols of Anderson; three grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
