Augusta, Ga.- Mildred Elizabeth Greene Harvey, 97, wife of the late Reverend Horace Harvey went to meet her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 6, 2012 at the residence.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 1:00 P.M., in Fleming Baptist Church with Reverends Ray Freeman and Billy Atkins officiating.
Interment services will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Rebecca, GA.
Survivors include: her daughter, Anne Savage and her husband Doc of Augusta; son, H.C. Harvey and his wife LaTricia of Plains, GA; grandchildren, Rob Dunn and Ryan and his wife Lori Dunn, Clay Harvey and his mother Christine Harvey and Bob and Betty Kendra; great-grandchildren, Jackson Dunn and Joey and Savannah Kendra.
If so desired memorials may be made to the Alzhemier Association 1899 Central Ave., Augusta, GA 30904.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 A.M., until 1:00 P.M., at the church.

Floyd Joseph Kruszka
Evans, GA – Floyd Joseph Kruszka, 92, husband of forty-seven years to the late Edith Wills Kruszka, entered into rest on Sunday, January 1, 2012.
Memorial services with Full Military Honors will be held Saturday, January 7, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Pastor Dewain French and Chaplain Willis Everett officiating.
Inurnment will follow at a later date in Michigan.
Mr. Kruszka, son of the late Michaelus and Maria Janowiak Kruszka, was born in Manistee, Michigan. He served in the United States Army in World War II and the Korean Conflict and retired as a First Sergeant. During his military career he earned numerous honors including a Bronze Star. He then served at the VA Medical Center where he retired as a nursing assistant. He was also an avid fan of Augusta State University basketball and baseball teams.
He is survived by his stepdaughter, Sheryl Merchant and her husband, Jim, of Winthrop, MA; grandchildren, Jimmy, Sherry, Mark, and Dawn; and several great grandchildren; his Georgia “family”, daughter and son-in-law, Sonja and Steve Kitchings, and grandchildren Donnie, Steven D, and Kalyn, all of Harlem, and Joyce Lifsey.
The family will receive friends Saturday, following the service, at the funeral home.

William Marion Rogers, Sr
Hephzibah, GA – William Marion Rogers, Sr, 84, of Willis Foreman Rd, husband of the late Marian Elizabeth Whitehead Rogers, entered into rest Monday, January 2, 2012, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 6, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors, with Reverend Billy Turner and Reverend Kevin Towns officiating.
Interment will follow in Mt Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Rogers, son of the late Dozier and Ola Mae McCorkle Rogers, graduated from Warren County High School and lived most of his life in Richmond County. He was Past President of the Hephzibah Lions Club. He served in the Navy SeeB’s during World War II and retired from Civil Service with the Army at Fort Gordon, GA. He spent his retirement traveling and was a full-time caregiver for Elizabeth during her battle with Alzheimers in her later years. He loved nature and was never more delighted than when he could see a deer, turkey, rabbit, or covey of quail. This love he passed on to his family. One of his favorite places was Cades Cove in The Smoky Mountains.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Rogers, and his brother, John Rogers.
He is survived by his son, Billy Rogers and his wife, Gloria, of Hephzibah; his daughter, Susan Peebles and her husband, Harry, of Jesup; his grandchildren, Nikki Rogers Taylor and her husband, Jeremy, of Hephzibah, Trey Rogers and his wife, Libby, of Hephzibah, Jessica Ann Rogers, of Augusta, James Alex Rogers, of Augusta, Wesley Jarrett Peebles, of Jesup, and William Nelson Peebles, of Jesup; his great granddaughters, Emma Rhae Taylor and Kinsley Elizabeth Rogers; and his brothers, Harvey Rogers and his wife, Mae.
Pallbearers will be Chris Rogers, Gary James, Jeremy Taylor, James Raborn, Allen Raborn, Steve Raborn, and MC Raborn.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 5, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Augusta, GA – Christian John Leaptrotte infant son of John and Jennifer Leaptrotte entered into rest Sunday, January 1, 2012 at MCG.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 4, 2012, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverend Ron McMillian officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.
Other survivors include his sisters, Kylie Taylor and Anna Belle Leaptrotte of Johnston, SC; brother, Ethan Lott of Barnwell, SC; paternal grandparents, James and Thelma Leaptrotte of Augusta; maternal grandparents, Richard and Faye Brawley of Trenton, SC.
