Ruth S. (Bootsie) Hodo

Augusta, GA – Ruth S. (Bootsie) Hodo, 83, wife of the late Henry L. Hodo, entered into rest Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2012, at 3:00 pm from Central Christian Church with Reverend Dr. Emmitt “Tip” Carroll officiating.
Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.
Mrs. Hodo, daughter of the late Beufort and Jesse Elizabeth Janes Scott, was born in Augusta. She was longtime member of Central Christian Church where she was a member of the Helping Hands and the Golden Agers. She was a homemaker and had been a seamstress for many years.
She is survived by her son Darrell Hodo, of Isle of Palms, SC, and her daughter and son in law, Donna H. and Bobby Markwalter, of Martinez; her grandchildren, Bobby Markwalter, II (Catrina), Sheila Sherwood (Mike), Russ Markwalter (Gena), Ashley Jackson (Russell), Michelle Dunn (Todd), Carolyn Hodo, and Scott Hodo; and seven great grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Helping Hands and the Golden Agers.

The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 2:00 pm until the hour of service.

Bonnie Rose

Augusta, Ga.- Mrs. Bonnie Lois Rose, 69, wife of the late Howard D. Rose entered into rest on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the residence.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 2:00 P.M., in the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Bishop L. A. Greene officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park .
Pallbearers will be Andrew Keller, Derrick Raycroft, Bo Fanning and Shaun Rose.
Survivors include: her children, Cynthia and Alan Rose; brother, Jefferson Keller, Jr.; grandchildren, Shaun Rose, Brandon Kelley, Linda Rose, Laci Rose, A.J. Rose, Jr. and Lyndsey Rose.
Mrs. Rose was born in Augusta to the late Jefferson W. and Marion Phillips Keller, Sr.. She was a member of Stevens Creek Community Church and a homemaker.
The family would like to thank Odyssey Hospice and the many caregivers.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 P.M., until 2:00 P.M., at the funeral home.
