Augusta, GA – Mr. Stanley Anthony Polkosnik, 83, husband of the late Mary Hester Polkosnik entered into rest Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Trinity Hospital.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday December 14, 2011, at 4:00 PM in Magnolia Cemetery with Reverend Fr. Thomas Healy officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the grave.
He was born in South Hampton, NY to the late John A. and Celia Silwoski Polkosnik. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a retired salesman for Boardman Petroleum.
Survivors include his son, Mark C. Polkosnik .

Lorraine Dolores May
North Augusta, SC – Lorraine Dolores May, 63, wife of Paul E. May, Jr., of Stevens Creek Dr., entered into rest Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at her residence.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, December 8, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church with Father David F. O. Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Gardens of St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Healing Journey Support Group and members of the BLT’s.
Mrs. May, daughter of the late Francis C. and Elva P. Miles, was a native of Ft. Meade, MD, and was an Education Services Specialist with the Department of Defense. Mrs. May was a member of St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, of the Healing Journey Support Group and of the Augusta Geneaolgical Society. She and her husband were past members of the Simple Gifts Contemporary Christian Band.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Miles, formerly of Houston, TX.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. May is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Steve Foss of North Augusta; brother and sister-in-law, Francis C. and Carolyn Miles, Jr. of Augusta; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Frank Worsham of Evans, Grace and Darrell Hartwick of Dickinson, TX; and two grandchildren, Caroline Rose Foss and Katherine Lorraine Foss.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the service at the church.

Mrs. Gina Trimmier
Augusta, Ga.- Mrs. Gina Trimmier,entered into rest on Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at the age of 51, after a brave battle with cancer.
She is survived by her devoted husband and soul mate of twenty-one years, Norman(Trey) Trimmier, her mother Vinnie Gray Rees of Augusta, Georgia, brothers Darnell Wright (Lois), of Dublin, Virginia and Jerry Wright (Christy) of Beech Island South Carolina, sisters Lynda Wingard (Alan), of Aiken, South Carolina and Janell Atkins (Dennis), of Beech Island, South Carolina, daughters Shannon Smith of Augusta, Georgia and Jessica Stokes (David) of Graniteville, South Carolina, a son Jeremy Clements (Brandy) of Augusta, Georgia, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Her loyalty, friendship, and the ability to love unconditionally will be remembered and greatly missed by those whom she leaves behind. Her favorite scripture was “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run , and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31.
A private service was held at her home with family members.

Evelyn Pearson
Augusta, Ga.- Evelyn Pearson, 83, wife of the late Sam Pearson entered into rest Thursday, December 1, 2011.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Pastor Mark Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Pearson was born in Kershaw South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Wade H. & Nannie Watkins Parker. She was retired from food service with Georgia Regional Hospital and was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Lawson, her grandson, Davy Watkins and great-granddaughter, Jazzlyn Jessie
Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Klapper and her husband Rick of Beech Island, Alice Watkins and her husband David of Augusta, her sons John Butler of Aiken, Eddie Pearson and his wife Tina of Grovetown, her brothers, Buck Parker of Kershaw SC, Troy Parker of Bethune SC, Jack Parker of Cassat SC and her grandchildren, Alison Weigand, Christy Diener, Gina Stewart, Jennifer Klapper, Janice Shelton, Renee Watkins, Rebecca Watkins, Lynn Watkins and Sam Watkins, great-grandchildren, David, James, Nathan, Marissa, Georgia, Eric, Devonte, Jeremiah, C.J., ANiyah, Andre, Karson and Preston, and her sister in law, Ellie Gessel.
Pallbearers will be Jody Stewart, Karson Stewart, Eric Shelton, Daniel Smith, Robert Moyer, and Steven Riedel.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at the funeral home.

Henry C. Martin, Sr.
Augusta, GA – Mr. Henry C. Martin, Sr., 62, husband of Laraine Duell Martin went to sleep with the Lord Tuesday, November 29, 2011.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 4:00 P.M., at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Joyner officiating.
He was born in Chicago, IL to the late Clayton and Thelma Hall Peacock. He was a retired 23 year US Navy Sea Bee Vietnam veteran and a 18 year OTR Truck Driver for Schwerman Trucking Company. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and VFW Post 649.
Other survivors include his children, Henry C. Martin, Jr., and Lisa McGuire; six grandchildren; sisters, Mary L. James, Helen Minter and Thelma Anderson; brother, Presley Martin; step-children, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hoehn, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Arend, Charles Hoehn and their children; nine nieces; three nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
