Washington, Ga. – Charley Weldon Anderson, Jr. ,86, husband of Ruth Hall Anderson entered into rest Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Wills Memorial Hospital.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 10:00 A.M., in the Abilene Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Marion Jay officiating.
Mr. Anderson was born in Augusta to the late Charley W. and Lucy Agerton Anderson, Sr. He was a retired Mail Carrier a US Army WWII veteran and a member of Sherwood Baptist Church and the National Association of Letter Carriers.
Other survivors are his daughter, Tamara Anderson Jowers of Martinez, GA; grandchild, Amber Rocque and one great-grandchild, Hailey Powell.

Augusta, Ga. – Clara Chapman Kilpartrick,79, entered into rest Friday, July 23, 2010 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held on today, July 26, 2010 at 2:00 P.M., from Calvary Baptist Church in Jackson, SC with Reverend Marion Jay and Reverend Jim Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Mrs. Kilpatrick was born in Statesville, NC to the late Andrew and Ruth Hobbs Chapman, Sr. She was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church and was a retired Lab Technician from Kendall Company .
Survivors include her children, Alvin and (Anita) Kilpatrick of Augusta, GA, Kenneth Kilpatrick of Augusta,GA, Tommy and (Deborah) Kilpatrick of Blythe, GA and Steve and (Misty) Kilpatrick of Martinez, GA and Tina Cloer and her husband( Mike) of Augusta, GA; step-mother, Artince Chapman of Jackson, SC; brothers, Andrew and (Vesta Mae) Chapman of Jackson, SC, Bob Chapman of Jackson, SC and Andy and (Susan) Chapman of Beech Island, SC; sisters, Mary Campbell of New Ellenton, SC, Carolyn and (Roy) Head of North Augusta, SC and Judy and (Tom) Johnson of Aiken, SC; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
In Lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital or Sherwood Baptist Church.
