Mildred Hutchinson Scarboro

Langley, SC – Mildred Hutchinson Scarboro, 80, of Arabian Ct, wife of the late John Hamilton Hutchinson, Jr, and the late Ken Scarboro, entered into rest Thursday, May 6, 2010, at the Medical College of Georgia.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 8, at 12:00 PM, from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors, with the Reverend Jim Johnson and Reverend Marion Jay officiating.
Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.
Mrs. Scarboro, daughter of the late John Pete and Mae Gleaton Randall, was born in Aiken County, SC, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church and the Inspirational Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, two grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
She is survived by sons, John H. Hutchinson, III, and his wife Cathy, Gene Hutchinson, and Michael Hutchinson, and his wife Jeri, all of Martinez, and David Hutchinson, and his wife Kathy, of Thomson; daughter, Sheryl Durden, and her husband, Carl, of Langley; sister, Myrtle Culver, of North Augusta, SC; half sister Kathleen Cato, of Clearwater, SC; ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and special friends, Dick and Sue Sapp and family.
Active pallbearers will be Carl Joshua Durden, Michael Hutchinson, Robert Hutchinson, Andy Waters, Wendy Boyd, and Jamie Hutchinson.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Inspirational Sunday School Class.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.

Patrick Wells, Jr.

Blythe, GA – Dorlan Patrick Wells, Jr., 44, husband of the late Pamela Wells passed away suddenly Monday, May 3, 2010, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 7, 2010, at 3:00 P.M., from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Minister Mike McCormick and Evangelist Earl Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Walden United Methodist Church Cemetery Avera, GA.
Pallbearers will be: Johnny Lykins, Billy Ray Bridges, Darryl Leal, Denny Yates, Junior Lykins and Steven Wells.
He was the wonderful loving son of Pat and Kay Wells, cherished brother of Teig, Chad, Tara, Tam, Venoy, Steven and Aaron. Patrick adored his children Christopher and Kayla.
He was preceeded in death by his grandparents Ivy and Bryan Venoy and Lona and Leroy Bias.
Patrick you will be our angel in heaven until we are all in God’s loving arms with you.
Patrick was born in Huntington, WV and was a Millwright for FPL Foods and member of the Church of Christ. He loved the Lord.
He will be missed by his loving friends Kim, Johnny, Krystal, Billy Ray and the employees of FPL Foods.

Appling, GA – Gavin Lloyd Johnson, infant son of Tracy Marie Arrington and Larry Samuel “Bubba” Johnson, both of Appling, entered into rest Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at Doctors Hospital.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 7, 2010, at 2:00 pm from Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Steve Huffman officiating.
In addition to his parents he is survived by sisters Taylor, Logan and Carleigh; brother, John Austin; paternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs Larry Johnson, of Evans; maternal grandparents, Wanda Hall of Appling, and Butch and Lisa Arrington, of Lincolnton, GA; maternal great grandfather, David Arrington, of Lincolnton, GA; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Corinne Bailey

Augusta, GA – Mrs. Corinne Marion Newman Bailey , 95, wife of the late Charles Bailey entered into rest Monday, May 3, 2010, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 11:00 A.M., in the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverend Marion Jay officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
She was preceeded in death by a son Donald Orander.
She is survived by her daughters, Marion Howard of Augusta and Nell Durocher of Milwaukee, WI; son, Harold Orander of Beaufort, SC; ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and eight great great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bailey was born in Jefferson County, GA to the late Leon and Mary Stewart Newman. She retired from Roses Department Store and was of the Baptist faith.
