Augusta, Ga.- Ray Edward Williams, 56, husband of Patricia Colley Williams entered into rest Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the residence.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 3:00 P.M., in the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Dr. Gordon Robinson officiating.
Mr. Williams was preceeded in death by his father, John James Williams and brother, Danny J. Williams, Sr.. He was a construction supervisor for the Richmond County Water Works Department.
Additional survivors include his daughters, Tammy Williams Stewart and her husband Robbie and Lisa Marie Williams all of Augusta; mother, Bettie Anthony Williams of Augusta; aunt, Katherine Stallings of Jackson, SC; grandchildren, Justin Michael Courtright, Brandon Charles Courtright, Kahsey Glendora Courtright, Lucio Ray Alvarez and Haylee LeAnne Walker; special nephews, Robbie Hughes and his wife Mia, Jerry Jarrell, Jr., and Michael Colley and his wife Anna; nieces, Kathy Hughes and Shannon Belcher and her husband Ray; brother-in-laws, Fred Colley and his wife Judy and Danny Colley; sister-in-laws, Susie Hughes and her husband Eddie and Ann Marie Jarrell and her husband Jerry Jarrell, Sr., and several great nieces and nephews; best friend Rick Russ and special dog, Cocoa.

Teat Randolph Davis, Sr

Augusta, GA – Teat Randolph Davis, Sr, husband of Lethia F. Newman Davis, entered into rest Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at his residence.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, February 25, at 6:00 pm, from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors, with Dr. Michael Davenport officiating.
Mr. Davis, son of the late Lafake and Mattie Testernary Davis, was the owner and operator of Hilltop Produce and Seafood in North Augusta and was a Methodist.
In addition to his wife he is survived by sons, Teat Randolph Davis, Jr, Timmy Randolph Davis, and Dustin Davis, all of Augusta; daughters, Connie Brewer, April Williford, and Bridgett Davis, all of Augusta; brothers, Erskine Davis and Rufus Davis, both of Augusta, and George Davis, of North Carolina; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Robert Hagy, Sr.

Augusta, Ga.- Robert Vince Hagy, Sr., 80, husband of Doris Calvert Hagy entered into rest Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the residence.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 21, 2010 at 2:00 P.M., in the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverend J.C. Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
Mr. Hagy was born in Gardner, VA to the late Clarence and Ethel Pinion Hagy. He was a retired US Army Korean and Vietnam Conflict veteran a member of the DAV and First Baptist Church of Gracewood.
Additional survivors include his sons, Robert Hagy, Jr., and his wife Leslie of Grovetown, Walter Hagy and his wife Virginia of Martinez, Donald Hagy of Augusta, Richard Hagy and his wife Julia of Swickley, PA, Timothy Hagy and his wife Sherry of Appling and Christopher Hagy and his wife Belinda of Martinez; sister, Jean North and her husband Tommy of Churchville, VA; ten grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren; a special cousin, Larry Hagy and his wife Lisa of Pounding Mill, VA and many neices and nephews.

Clifford P. Zellner, Jr

Augusta, GA – Clifford P. Zellner, Jr, 62, husband of Denise Collins Zellner, of Tudor Dr, entered into rest, Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at the residence.

The family will receive friends at the residence, 2220 Tudor Drive, Augusta, GA, on Sunday, February 21, from 2:00 until 4:00 PM.

Mr. Zellner, son of Christine McDaniel Zellner and the late Clifford P. Zellner, Sr, was born in Barnesville, GA, but lived most of his life in the area. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving with the United States Army. He was a cashier at Veracruz.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by sons, Shane Zellner, Augusta, Preston Zellner, Indiana, and Brandon Zellner, Augusta; stepdaughters, Virginia Callender, Augusta, and Mary Callender, Augusta; grandchildren, Ashley Hayslip, Tyler Hayslip, and Alaysia Hayslip; and sister Margaret B. Zellner, Augusta.

Raymond Chapman

Augusta, GA – Raymond Leaford Chapman, 74, Husband of Delores Jones Chapman, entered into rest Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010, at 11:00 A.M., from Mann Memorial United Methodist Church with the Reverend Brandon Fulmer officiating.
Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park with full military honors.
Mr. Chapman was born in Tarrs, PA. He was a retired US Army Vietnam veteran. He was a member of Mann Memorial United Methodist Church, the Henry M. Teller Lodge# 144 A. F. & A. M. and the Georgia-Lina Emmaus Community. He loved to collect coins and was involved with the Kairos prison ministry.
He was preceeded in death by his son, Darin Chapman, his father, John Chapman and a brother, Gerald Chapman.
Other survivors include his son, Kevin Chapman and his wife Sue of Winder, grandson, Noah Chapman; Mother, Geraldine Webb of El Paso, TX; brothers, Ernest Chapman and Dennis Chapman both of Clarkston, WA, Terry Chapman of Acton, CA and Richard Chapman of Cloud Cross, NM; sister, Pam Webb of Rio Dosa, NM.

Martha Jane Quick

Hephzibah, GA – Martha Jane Quick, 63, of Hephzibah McBean Rd, wife of the late Archie Lewis Quick, entered into rest Thursday, February 10, 2010, at Doctors Hospital.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, February 14, at 3:00 pm from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with the Reverend Marion Jay officiating.
Mrs. Quick, daughter of the late Judson and Ruby Virginia Ice Metz, was a native of West Virginia but had lived in the area for 44 years. She worked at Clara’s Beauty Shop for 22 years, and then at Peach Orchard Beauty Shop for 22 years.
She is survived by her son, Jason Lewis Quick, Hephzibah; daughters, Lisa Conquest and Angela C. Eskew, both of Hephzibah; grandchildren, Alan Eskew, Brittany Panzella, Jaysen Quick, Malorie Brown, and Garrett Brown; brother and sister in law, Arthur and Wendy Metz, Washington State; and sister and brother in law, Patricia and Bill Champlin, Easley, SC; and nephew, David James, Mannington, WV.

Leila Frances Bilton RabornAugusta, GA – Mrs. Leila Frances Bilton Raborn, 63, wife of Richard Raborn entered into rest Sunday, February 7, 2010, at her residence.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 11:00 A.M., in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Mr. James Taylor officiating.

Other survivors include her sons, Jimmy and Marc Raborn both of Augusta.

Mrs. Raborn was born in Augusta to the late Benjamin and Helen McCormick Bilton. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and had retired from the Richmond County Board of Education as a Teachers Aide at C.T. Walker Magnet School.

Augusta, GA – Marta Navasca, 94, wife of the late Deodorico Navasca entered into rest Sunday, January 31, 2010, at The Place at Deans Bridge.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 10:30 A.M., from St. Michaels Catholic Church with Reverend Fr. Damian Ilokaba, Reverend Fr. Dave Arnoldt and Reverend Mr. George Foster as celebrants. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
She is survived by her daughters, Tessy Evangelista and her husband Francisco of Hephzibah and Marieta Cruz and her husband Edmundo of Oslo, Norway and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Navasca was born in Bario Halang, Phillippines and was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church.

Thomas Eugene Friar

Hephzibah, Ga.- Thomas Eugene Friar husband of Shirley Friar of Brown Rd. entered into rest Friday, January 29, 2010 at the residence.
Graveside services will be held Monday, February 1, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Dr. Michael Davenport officiating.
Mr. Friar was born in Ft. Jackson, South Carolina and had operated a bait and tackle shop for many years. He had also served in the United States Marines for four years.
Additional survivors include his mother, Ruby Holt of Augusta, his sons, Timothy Friar of Augusta, Bobby Friar of Jacksonville, FL, his daughter Tammy Jardine of Jacksonville, FL, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. His step son Darrell Johnson and his wife Tammy of Vidette, Ga. His step daughter Teresa Riddle and her husband Robert of Grovetown, his step-grandchildren, Lexie Johnson, Chandler Johnson, Samantha Riddle, Shelby Riddle, Bailey Riddle and Michael Johnson,
